can you return Tiffany's and Co's stuff w/o receipt
Q.My mom bought me a necklace from Tiffany's in Taiwan years ago as my graduation present but I never wore it because it wasn't a style I liked, and I've kept it untouched all these years and am now wondering if I can exchange for something else ? I don't have the receipt anymore, of course, but i am sure Tiffany's is able to see whether or not it's genuine and find the cost of it. I would be okay if it's discounted at a certain rate, because I would never wear this diamond necklace and if I could get something else that I would wear, it would be worth
A.Instead of asking the newsgroup, it may be more efficient and accurate to call your local Tiffany's directly. Nope they will not do it! They know how old (even if unworn) the item is. Your best bet is to try and sell it on ebay. Do a search on ebay ( try the completed items) and see how much it is selling for. I sell on Ebay and Tiffany items sell fairly well especially if in new condition. If this is a diamond piece you should get a fair amount for it as diamonds never go out of style . Let me know if you need some help pricing your necklace.
