Where can I buy a toe ring?
Q.I live in San Jose Ca. I have no idea where to find a toe ring for my girlfriend. Would anyone know?
A.Even though I can't pretend to have even the slightest expertise in these matters, it has occurred to me that most toe rings are probably just rather simple finger rings carefully chosen for their size...... worth a try anyway. I have mostly just stumbled onto them in various places. The first one that I ever had (now given away to an ex girlfriend) I got at an outdoor crafts fair on Long Island, New York. Well before that, I had seen advertisements for them in a magazine called U. (It's a national college news magazine inserted in many college papers--akin to "Parade" in your local Sunday paper.) It was in the classifieds, but I never bought one at that time. Keep an eye out at any outdoor fair or festival where booths will be set up to sell hemp jewelry, clothing, or other jewelry. Also check out any alternative-type stores like head shops, new age shops, surf shops and also regular jewelry stores. They are getting very popular: you WILL find them if you keep your eyes open.
