Man Watch JewelryQ.Again these are all reasonably priced and most are men's models: (women wearing men's watches was cool a couple of years ago) Nothing is sexier than a hot woman wearing a Rolex Lady Oyster Stainless. The Lady Oyster looks like a mini-version of a man's Air King. Blue face, no numerals, no date, plain stainless bracelet, understated, perfect. If you don't like the chunkiness of the Rolex, go for a Chopard (Happy Diamonds) or an Ebel. Omega- Seamaster Diver ($1295) Tag Heuer: F1 ($750?) or Alter Ego ($1295) Oris- Big Crown ($675) Yes I know this is a man's watch but it looks great on a women's wrist, too. There are exceptions to every rule, I guess. Please add your favorite as I may have missed a few. Swiss only, please. A.I've had a few experiences with temperamental fancy watches (nothing in the Rolex class) and have found them to be more trouble than they were worth. (My father had a pawn shop and I have several pieces of beautiful jewelry that are no good to me because the watch part doesn't work.) It's almost impossible to find anyone to fix them--and if they don't know what they are doing, they can destroy a watch completely. I could see spending a lot of money on a piece of jewelry I would expect to keep forever. But not on a watch. i think some guys have a watch as their only jewelry (aside from a wedding band), so for them i guess it's not unreasonable. or an insecure guy may need to have a $2000 watch to feel adequate. watches don't thrill me, and with fakes sold on every corner in nyc, a quick glance at someone's wrist isn't gonna tell you all that much. actually, i'm not a big fan of wearing tons of jewellery, or items with a brand name visible either.
