Where are all the Toe Ring Lovers Out There?
Q.Man! Is this NG slow! Thought I'd drum things up and get up to date on a few things. 1. How many of you folks wear toe rings? How many guys? How many and what kind do you wear? Adjustable sized? Silver or Gold? How often? 24/7? 2. If you do wear them, how often do you treat your feet to a pedicure? Have you ever had one? French, clear or colored? 3. If your a guy, what does your friends think about your fashion? 4. What kind of sandals or foot wear do you like the best? Especially if you wear toe rings. 5. What is your favorite moisturizure (spelling?) for your feet. 6. Wear is your favorite place to go barefoot other than home?
A.Male, 51 yrs old. Wear 1 silver adjustable 24/7. Never had a pedicure, but I want to. How do I find a "good" pedicurist? People think it's no big deal... but alot of them remark about it. Toering or two really dress up a man's feet. Women find it intriguing. Birkie sandals, the kind with knobby soles for foot massage. Moisturizer I use is Curel. My fav barefoot place is throwing frisby on a big grassy field. I wear a silver, plain (no pattern or engraving) non-adjustable toe ring on the fourth toe of my left foot. It's on every hour of every day, and has been for nearly four years. I've never had a pedicure, but maybe in the future I'll try it out. First my big toenail has to heal completely. Why bother if they won't be able to do it right? I'm a guy, and my friends don't really care about it. They know this is the way I am, and they deal with it. When I'm not barefoot (when I can't *be* barefoot) I wear a pair of Reef sandals (flip-flops). They're minimal shoes, but they're far enough from being the "disposable-looking" kind of crappy flip-flops that look shabby when you're in a store or restaurant, or especially at work. I really don't use one, but if I did have to, I'd probably use Lubriderm, which I've used on my hands in the past. As I read the other responses in preparation for making my own, I came across one person who reminded me of what my answer should be: playing frisbee on a grassy field is my favorite place to be barefoot. I am a guy and I wear silver toe rings either barefoot or with open toe sandals. I wear a toe ring on the second toe of each foot. I get a professional pedicure every two weeks in a nail salon. The foot message is wonderful! I always wear bright red nail polish on my toes. Sometimes I get a French pedicure, but I really like to wear red on my toes. I see quite a few guys getting pedicures but they are usually afraid to try color. This is really strange because some of the same guys have highlights in their hair and wear earrings, but they are still afraid to wear color on their toes. Guys should really try pedicures ans colored nail polish. The pedicures are very healthy for your feet and the red nail polish is fun! They got used to it, especially the red toenails! Some of my friends wish that they had the balls to wear nail polish snd toerings. It takes guys a very long time to try something that is feminine. For example, earrings on guys was considered really wierd just 10 to 15 years ago. When I can't go barefoot, I wear Womens SAS Sandals. The style that I wear is called "Duo". They are the most confortable sandals that are available, even more confortable and lighter than Birkenstocks. Most men's sandals are ugly and look like truck tires. I don't understand the following: Men have larger feet. Why do the shoe designers create sandals that make an already large foot look even larger? I love to go barefoot anywhere and everywhere except I always wear my SAS Sandals to work.
