Man Gold And Diamond Jewelry
Q.Traditionally women and men suppose to wear wedding ring or engagement rings. I don't know if anyone (men or women) are allergic to metals or jewelry as I do. I had ear pierced three times but it closed up because I don't ear rings and quit wearing them because my ears always infected and bleed. I can't even wear metal watch on my wrist. When I tried the first time; my wrist was red as it was grabbed by a man and bruised it. Yet, it is worst that I can't and have never wear rings on my fingers. It is inches and I can't stand wearing jewelry. What is a nice way to tell American man that I love you but I can't wear jewelry to preserve the tradition. Would you be embarrass to have a wedding in a chuch and not put a ring on a bride on your wedding day? I know that Thai or Chinese wedding doesn't require a man to put a ring on the bride hand. Will it break a man whatever (heart, mind, soul) to say no to a Ring?
A.As for metal allergies, you may well be hypersensitive to the metals with which gold is alloyed (pure 24 K gold being really too soft for thin sections as in jewelry, it is melted together with other metals, usually copper in the case of yellow gold, or nickle for white gold) Remember, 22 K gold is 8.4% *other* metals. A possible solution (if you wish jewelry) is to try platinum jewelry, if you can find _actual_ PT 1000 (which to platinum, is what 24K is to gold: 100% pure--not alloyed), though like pure gold, pure platinum is less durable than the non-alloyed variety, but likely tough enough unless you leave it on your hand while doing automotive mechanic or masonry work, for example. My wife is allergic to fake metal. She gets rashes around her neck, wrist or fingers when she wears custom jewlry, even when plated with real gold. She's find when the gold is 18k or higher. As far as getting a diamond ring or not, that's your call. What are you worth? Are you traditional, Does he love you enough? are all questions that'll ring in your mind for years to come.
