Jewelry Pearl Set White.
Q.Interesting thing I noticed reading what are you wearing' thread? Most people seem to have a lot of diff. outfits, yet wear the same "pearl or diamong studs/watch/wedding set" jewelry set day after day with all the different clothes. I notice the same with my friends. Of course, one of the logical answers would be that real jewelry is usually more expensive than clothes, so people tend to have less... but still, a Birkin isnt different from a piece of jewelry, cost-wise, or even some great shoes... Besides, there are other kinds, semi-precious gems and silver, bijou, etc... yet it is a rare case when a person has a few clothing items and changes mostly jewelry or accessorizes..
A.Well, the wedding set is always going to be the same, yes? (My mother was the only person I ever knew to have multiple wedding sets (one gold and one platinum). That seems crazy even to me.) So, you've got a wedding set, and it's either white metal or gold metal. Then how many watches do you need to go with it? I have five or six--a fancy antique white-gold and diamond one for evening, a silver tank watch with a black band for business meetings, and a few silver-and-semiprecious stone ones for every day. (I will point out that I was lame enough to forget to take off my tank watch for my wedding, which just makes me cringe every time I see that big old black leather strap in the wedding pictures...) Am I somehow lacking in the watch department (other than my hideous wedding watch solecism)? Now, not having lots of pairs of wonderful earrings IS a crime against nature and humanity. I'm with you there. And let's not forget about necklaces! (says the woman who has six pearl necklaces--a choker, a ballerina-length, a two-strand, a three-strand, a black torsade, and a flapper-style strand of grey pearls).
