Jewelry prices?
Q.what does “Aged” jewelry mean? There is a chart showing the items that can be made – looks like they are as expensive as “Current” jewelry but inferior products.
A.There was a recent patch that changed the jewelry you could produce into things you could actually sell. It didn't change the existing jewelry, however. That old jewelry is now marked as 'aged'. Nobody can make it anymore, and considering how bad it was (want a +3 WIS ring for 375 plat?), nobody would really want to. Prices range widely, but that's a bit extreme. Although it's above the skill of my jeweler, looking at the components necessary (Plat bar and Jasper) I'd sell that ring for somewhere in the 30-50pp range I'd think. 375pp is way out of hand, but then when I see people paying anything more than a few hundred plat for _any_ item I shake my head in disbelief. Where you might see extreme prices like that are with some of the harder to find jewels like Ruby's or Sapphires. They're very pricey to buy and quite difficult to find on mobs.
