Jewelry Man TungstenQ.I'll have an assignment of indoor shot. Based on my last assignment (indoor), no-flash photo looked horrible. It's too yellowish. It was fine last time because I did scan the film and adjusted in photoshop.. but man! That's too much job. I think I need a tungsten film or blue-filter to correct the problem. Please correct me if I'm wrong here. Speaking of tungsten film or filter, which one do you recommend? One reason that I would like to use tungsten film instead of filter is I don't lose f/stop. Also, can I develop the tungsten film at any shop (e.g., photo-mailer or Kodak lab center)? What tungsten film would you recommend? I need quite fast film (ISO 400 would be good)... no enlargement over 5x7. A.I haven't tried tungsten film, but I do a lot of indoor photography (product, macro(coins & jewelry)) and use various lighting setups and have settled on a basically starter setup with 3 lights, 250w 3200k photofloods. I use an 80A and yes it does add some stops to the equation but in most all instances I am looking for DOF and must dial in more f-stop anyway., especially with my 1:1 macro setups. My advice is to try both ways and do which you like the best. I get great results with DL film and an 80A and a tripod. Kodak makes a 320 Tungsten film. You would lose two stops with an 80A filter - so it really makes sense to go with the tungsten film. Be aware that if your lighting will be household bulbs you will still be getting somewhat yellow results. Photofloods burn at a higher temp. It will be considerably easier to correct in Photoshop than daylight film though, and the slightly "warm" look is not unpleasant. Other Questions : Wholesale Fashion Accessory JewelryDoes anyone know why gold jewelry appears to be so overpriced? I've been looking for a 14 ga 3/8" CBR with a gold bead, and can't find anything cheaper than $50 US (and that's 14 karat!), which seems way out of line to me. Based on... Diamond Filigree Gold Bracelet.I'd have to say it's a necklace -- 18kt yellow gold handmade chain set with a hanging rough (i.e. not cut) brown diamond. Diamond Choker NecklaceOne of my New Year's resolutions is to wear more jewelry, especially earrings. But I'm wondering if I'm overdoing it. Let's say I'm wearing black pants and a button down shirt.
