Online Jewelry Instruction...Q.Do any of you know of anybody that does web based instruction? If as you say, you "want to learn the proper way", then youll have to take the "proper" route to the knowhow in this trade. And thats via a "proper" course where an instructor teaches a class of students, or, via a proper apprenticeship which normally lasts 7 years. Do you honestly think someone is going to do what is in effect a one to one correspondence course in becoming a jeweller? We who are established in the trade dont have that kind of time spare. Thats assuming you have a natural aptitude to this kind of work. If you want the knowhow then youll have to pay for it somehow or other. I for one wouldnt "give" away my time to such a project.
