A.The inside is finished thusly... http://home.earthlink.net/~schwalden/cherrybox1.JPG I build the inside box, which is removable, from 1/4 plywood and 3/32 for the inserts and then cover them with adhesive backed velour which can be had at Woodcraft in a roll that is just about perfect for this project for about $20. A lot I guess but its easy to work with and looks nicely. I used the directions right out of the American Woodworker mag from which the project came.
