Discount College Class Ring, Any guys here own class rings?
Q.I got this packet from school about class rings from none other then JOSTENS! I was wondering if any guys here have or are getting one....They seem pretty cool, but I dunno...
A.here's my take on class rings... if you're a sophomore or early junior in high school (and a guy) you MIGHT want to get one... but.. if you don't wear jewelry to begin with.. then don't. Just think about the cost versus the value of wearing it for... maybe 2 years will be worth. (No one in college or above really wears their high school class rings for the most part.) Girls are a whole different story :) (but since your profile says you're a guy, you don't have to worry.) I think it depends on your feelings towards your school. If you are deep with pride for your school you should get one. This is from personal expierence but I'm at a school that his high on pride. We're one of the best athletic high schools in New England, and we have a very high academic program. So basically it's a pride thing for me, but if you don't want a ring, don't get one. PS Anyone live in RhodeIsland? My school's hockey team (Fairfield Prep) just beat your best hockey team Mt. St. Charles the guys who have won the state tourney there for 22 years. Anyway, If you do live there, drop me an email.. I'm also going to add that part of the reason I didn't get a ring was that my birthday is in October... which the birthstone is Rose Quartz...PINK... yes.. PINK. I would have had a PINK ring if I was to stick to my birthstone. I like Aerosmith and all... but PINK is not my favorite color. ok.. OBDMB: Newbies- have some questions you'd like answered?
