Diamond Solitaire Pendant Necklace
Q.I just thought of a new thread. What style of jewelry does everyone like? I seem to be drawn to necklaces and earrings that are heart shaped. I do own a few cross necklaces. And I love chiming harmony ball necklaces. But, I am mostly a heart person. Yesterday was my birthday and I got two new heart necklaces. My husband gave me a beautiful diamond heart necklace. He said that when he saw it, he knew it was "me." What style does everyone else here like?
A.simple and classic - with everything, not only jewellery. it's usually just a simple diamond solitare set (earrings, ring, pendant) or a gold set (stud earrings, jade bracelets: 6 ovals in a row.. they look like tic-tacs, and a necklace with a small pendant). Nothing much. I have lots of jewelry, real and costume. I have several pieces from my grandmother and mother including a beautiful cameo, ruby and diamond pinkie ring, pendant watches on gold chains and my mothers engagement ring which is a solitaire with two baguettes set in white gold. I have several pendants to wear on chains, lapis, jade, citrine. I have pearls in different lengths, several pairs of pearl earrings, a diamond and ruby necklace with earrings, sapphire bracelet and several rings. My costume jewelry collection consists of several interesting pieces bought on vacations an/or at museum gift shops. Jewelry styles change as do fashions so many of these pieces aren't currently in style. Earrings tend to be smaller than they were a few years ago. I tend to favor gold earrings, bracelets and simple rings but every so often I try to look at what I own and find a treasure I've overlooked.
