Q.Is there any way to buy piercing jewelry direct from the manufacturer? I ask especially because I've never seen any "unconventional" pierced items in findings stores, and that's too bad. For that matter, are there any courses taught in which you can learn to make your own piercing jewelry?

As far as unconventional jewelry, the only one I can recommend is Stainless Studios, whose WWW page is at http://www.io.org/~bodyart ... As far as courses, most community courses teach courses in jewelry (go for goldsmithing) and small metalworking and machining skills. (Or you could pick up a book on it).
