Antique Jewelry Repair
Q.I need a recommendation for a *very* good repair person who can be trusted. My mother needs her ring resized and it has baguette diamonds. From what I have heard, they are very difficult to resize without loosening the stones. Most places like in the malls don't have in-house jewelers anymore, and she doesn't want to worry about it being lost or stolen being transported someplace else. Any recommendations
A.I've had some very good repairs done on antique jewelry by a shop on South Lamar, somewhere between Barton Creek and Manchaca. I can't for the life of me remember the name, but they have a yellow sign with a picture of a diamond ring on it. It's on the left side if you are traveling south.
