Antique Jewelry Mall
Q.I'd be interested in any recommendations for antique jewelry stores in the Washington DC area (actually, Pennsylvania and New York are ok too...we do road trips fairly frequently). I know that there are a lot of places in Pennsylvania, but we haven't managed to get up there in a long time...
A.In Manassas VA is Law's Antiques, an antiques mall and auction house. One of the dealers in the antiques mall specializes in old jewelry. I have found her prices to be extremely high and she appears unwilling to negotiate her prices. These comments apply to silver only as I don't deal in jewelry. To get to Law's, take I-66 West from DC and exit onto route 28 South. Law's is on the left about 4-5 miles south of I-66.
